Virágos Magyarország

A Virágos Magyarország program 1994-ben az Országos Idegenforgalmi Hivatal, a Belügyminisztérium és a különböző szakmai szervezetek megszervezték az első hazai országos virágosítási, környezetszépítési és környezetvédelmi versenyt. Ebben az időszakban az OIH viselte a versennyel kapcsolatos összes költséget. Messzemenően támogatták a mozgalmat, mert fontos promóciós eszközt láttak benne, valamint a verseny célja - a rendezett, kulturált környezet kialakítása - megegyezett a turizmus céljaival és ez azóta is a legfőbb szempontok közé tartozik.

Varsány 2012-ben jelentkezett először a Virágos Magyarország programba, amelyen el is nyerte az Arany Rózsa különdíjat. 2012-től napjainkig részt vesznek a programon. 

2015. évi Virágos Magyarországért környezetszépítő versenyen kimagasló teljesíményért elismerést kapta.

2016-ban a verseny Szervező Bizottsága az ,,Év települése” díjjal jutalmazta Varsány Község Önkormányzatát. 

2021-ben a település a versenyen falvak kategóriában, a szakmai zsűri döntése alapján Miniszterelnöki különdíjban részesült. Nagy János, Miniszterelnöki Programirodát vezető államtitkár személyesen hozta el Varsányba a Virágos Magyarország környezetszépítő verseny idei különdíját, melyet településünk Orbán Viktor miniszterelnök úrtól kapott

2022-ben 29. alkalommal adták át a legvirágosabb településnek járó elismeréseket  Magyar Agrár- és Élettudományi Egyetem Budai Campusán tartott ünnepélyes díjkiosztón, 2022. november 18-án.  Virágos Magyarország 2022-es győztesei között több mint 50 díj talált gazdára. Varsány 2022-ben fő kategóriában Virágos Önkormányzatért díjat vehetett át, melyet a Belügyminisztérium alapított. 

Átadták a Virágos Magyarország 2023-as elismeréseit Budapesten, az Eiffel Műhelyházban. ,,A 2023. évi, jubileumi 30. alkalommal tartott díjkiosztón Győr, Paks, Varsány és Alsómocsolád nyerte el a legvirágosabb település címet – jelentették be a szervezők. A Virágos Magyarország környezetszépítő verseny 2023-as gáláján öt települési kategóriában és hat kiemelt témában hirdettek győzteseket, több mint 50 szakmai díjat adtak át. Erdei Bálint, a szervező Magyar Turisztikai Ügynökség vezérigazgató-helyettese kiemelte: a verseny nemcsak a közösségi és környezeti értéke miatt meghatározó kezdeményezése az országnak, hanem turisztikai szempontból is kiemelkedő.” A megmérettetésre 9 ezer pályázat érkezett a 30 év alatt, a versenyt folyamatos innováció jellemzi, a kategóriák körét bővítették: idén első alkalommal nevezhettek a települések az Év zöld innovációja díjra. Nagy János, a Miniszterelnöki Irodát vezető államtitkár Orbán Viktor miniszterelnök köszöntőjét felolvasva kiemelte: különleges év az idei, amikor a verseny kerek születésnaphoz érkezett, a kezdeményezés nemzetközi szinten is szép eredményeket hozott. A Virágos Magyarország országhatárokon átívelő közösséget építő mozgalommá nőtte ki magát – tette hozzá, és a miniszterelnök nevében gratulált a résztvevőknek és a díjazottaknak.” A versenyre az idén minden korábbinál több, 492 pályázat érkezett.

A település töretlenül vesz részt a Virágos Magyarország versenyén már több, mint 10 éve. 

 

 

 

Entente Florale Hungary

The Entente Florale Hungary program started in 1994. The National Tourist Office, the Ministry of the Interior, and various professional organizations organized the first national flower arranging, environmental beautification, and environmental protection competition. During this period, the OIH bore all the costs related to the competition. They supported the movement to a great extent because they saw it as an important promotional tool, and the goal of the competition—the creation of an orderly, cultured environment—coincided with the goals of tourism, and this has been one of the most important aspects ever since.

Varsány first applied for the Entente Florale Hungary program in 2012, where they won the special Golden Rose award. They have been participating in the program since 2012.

They received recognition for outstanding performance in the 2015 Entente Florale Hungary environmental beautification competition.

In 2016, the Organizing Committee of the competition awarded the Municipality of Varsány with the “Settlement of the Year” award.

In 2021, the municipality received the Prime Minister’s Special Award in the villages category of the competition, based on the decision of the professional jury. János Nagy, State Secretary Head of the Prime Minister’s Program Office, personally brought the special award of the Entente Florale Hungary environmental beautification competition to Varsány, which our municipality received from Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.

In 2022, the awards for the most floral municipality were presented for the 29th time at the ceremonial award ceremony held at the Buda Campus of the Hungarian University of Agricultural and Life Sciences on November 18, 2022. More than 50 awards were received among the winners of Entente Florale Hungary 2022. The Ministry of the Interior presented Varsány with the Floral Municipality Award in the main category in 2022.

The awards for the Entente Florale Hungary in 2023 were presented in Budapest, at the Eiffel Workshop. At the 30th anniversary awards ceremony in 2023, Győr, Paks, Varsány, and Alsómocsolád won the title of the most floral settlement, ​​the organizers announced. At the 2023 gala of the Entente Florale Hungary environmental beautification competition, winners were announced in five settlement categories and six highlighted topics, and more than 50 professional awards were presented. Bálint Erdei, Deputy CEO of the Hungarian Tourist Agency, highlighted, The competition was not only decisive for the country because of its community and environmental value but also outstanding from a tourism perspective. The competition has received 9,000 applications over the past 30 years, and the competition is characterized by continuous innovation. The range of categories has been expanded: this year, for the first time, the Green Innovation of the Year award was presented to the settlements. János Nagy, State Secretary Head of the Prime Minister's Office, read out Prime Minister Viktor Orbán's greeting and highlighted, "This special year has grown from Hungary to a community-building movement that extends beyond the country's birthday," he added, and congratulated the participants and award winners on behalf of the Prime Minister. This year, more than ever before, 492 applications were received for the competition.

The settlement has been participating in the Entente Florale Hungary competition for more than 10 years.
